Live After Death at The Parlor

Live After Death

June 17, 2023, 8:00 PM
The Parlor, 108 West North Avenue

The world's most chaotic comedy show about grief is also the last event at The Parlor before renovation begins! ONE NIGHT ONLY

Ben Wasserman's Live After Death at the Parlor

Within the span of 3 years, comedian Ben Wasserman lost his dad, granddad, uncle, and four friends. In his new show Live After Death, Ben blends comedy, clowning, and crowd work as he leads the audience on a hilarious yet moving journey through grief, honoring and celebrating the ones we've lost along the way. Expect vulnerable conversation, juggling, a seance, and some dancing. You'll laugh! You'll cry,! It'll be a whole f***ing thing!

The evening's opener is Kim Le with an interactive storytelling piece about dads and complicated relationships (just in time for Father's Day!)

Enjoy a drink on the house in the basement speakeasy before the show (for those 21 and over only)

DOORS & SPEKEASY at 7:00; SHOW at 8:00

Live After Death has been featured and recommended by NPR, The New York Times, Time Out NY, Chicago Reader, Philadelphia Weekly, The Toledo Blade, Pittsburgh Union Press and more!

She is a core creator with Submersive Productions, a house performer with Baltimore Improv Group, and also regularly volunteers with the Baltimore Rock Opera Society.
