Getting to Station North


The Station North Arts & Entertainment District is well served by a wide range of transportation options, and is located adjacent to Maryland’s preeminent transportation hub, Penn Station. Whether you choose to bike, drive, train, or bus, the informationbelow will help you in your journey.


Routes 3, 11, 13, 36, 61, and 64 all service Station North. Visit the MTA’s website for more information on these routes.

Charm City Circulator

The Charm City Circulator’s Purple Route stops at Penn Station and connects Federal Hill, Downtown, and Mount Vernon to Station North.

Light Rail

The Light Rail’s North Avenue, Penn Station, and Mount Royal stations are all within a five minute walk of Station North.

MARC & Amtrak

Penn Station serves as Baltimore’s primary hub for Amtrak and MARC service, with connections to Washington, DC and the entire northeast corridor.


The Guilford Bike Boulevard and the Jones Falls Trail both pass through Station North, making the district one of the most cycling-friendly areas in Baltimore.


Interstate 83 passes just south of Station North. Public parking may be found on the street and in three garages/lots: Penn Station parking garage, Theatre Parking at 1715 N. Charles Street, and at Howard Street and 20th Street.
