EXHIBITION OPENING- Mixed Perception
Atrium Artspace presents Mixed Perception, a group exhibition celebrating the gallery’s second anniversary. Mixed Perception brings together a dynamic group of new and returning artists to explore the ephemeral space where artist and viewer meet. Within this shared moment, meaning is continuously formed and shaped by individual memory, experience, and interpretation. Through varied media and methods, these artworks invite the audience into active dialogue where perception becomes collaboration. Each piece exists as a living exchange of the artist’s intention and viewer’s interpretation. Mixed Perception celebrates the fluid intersection between what is created and what is seen.

EXHIBITION OPENING- make mud
make mud is oyindaSOLA's debut design exhibition — a spiritual cartography of becoming, where textiles, screen prints, and sacred objects map the interior architecture of falling back in love with yourself. Opening on her 35th birthday at AYE Gallery + Altar Studio, the space transforms into a live/work/breathe loft that honors the slow, deliberate work of surfacing. In Black ecology, mud is not filth — it's foundation — and this is proof that you can soften and still be solid.

BALTIMORE JEWELRY CENTER
10 East North Avenue, STE 130
EXHIBITION: A Dream Outside My Body
A Dream Outside My Body is a group exhibition that investigates how interpersonal connections and shared space influences the work of 10 contemporary artists. Each artist is affiliated with one another through the Baltimore Jewelry Center, and each has jewelry or metalsmithing as a significant component of their varied practices. While this iteration of the exhibition is condensed from the original, expansive display at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, the three central themes of the exhibition remain: jewelry as talisman; jewelry as an extension of the maker’s or wearer’s identity; and the application of “jewelry thinking” to other materials and disciplines. Viewers will encounter pieces that reflect these themes through multiple perspectives, processes, and media, including ceramics, paper, wood carving, illustration, painting, and sculpture.
Artists: Adam Atkinson, Cindy Cheng, Margo Csipő, J Taran Diamond, Luci Jockel, Elliot Keeley, Andy Lowrie, Molly Shulman, April Wood, and Elaine Zukowski
Entrance is on the ground floor of Centre Theater building (10 E North Ave). Look for the BJC mural on the Charles St side of the building; our entrance is to the left. Follow the walkway along the side of the building to the double doors past the mural. Ring the doorbell, and we'll let you in!

FUN ACTIVITY: Inheritance Theater Project & Oh To Dream
Inheritance Theater Project invites you to step inside the creative process of a new play being developed with and for Baltimore. We’ve already met hundreds of Baltimoreans across neighborhoods, professions, and ages to explore one central question: How are we connected across the many different Baltimores? Now, our playmaking team is beginning rehearsals—and you’re invited into the room as the play is still being written and shaped. During the rehearsal, you’ll: Watch early draft scenes from the developing play, be invited, at key moments, to offer feedback and ideas when the director asks for community input, connect with neighbors from across Baltimore.
No theater experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to engage. Your perspective helps make the work stronger and ensures the final piece reflects the many voices that have shaped it. Come see how the story is taking shape—and be part of what it becomes.

THE PARLOR
108 W. North Avenue
EXHIBITION CLOSING:Track One: Soulstar by Parlor Artist-in-Residence, Kailah Foreman
'Track One: Soulstar' explores the intersections of memory, identity, and imagination. Inspired by Kailah’s lived experiences growing up as a young Black girl in east Baltimore, Track One: Soulstar shifts between scenes from her childhood– like riding in the backseat of her mother’s car listening to music, waiting late at night on the bus stop, spending time with her late father– and symbolic dreamscapes where these moments, that were before considered to be in the distant past, can continue to live.
